The meeting

She came before Him , sadness and shame in her heart. She knew that she had chosen the wrong path, that was what everyone was telling her. They told her that she had to give it up, that she had to go to Him and admit that she was wrong. But He already knew what she was feeling, He knew how hard it had hit her, He knew her pain better than anyone. So when she came before Him in shame and guilt, He looked at her, not with anger but with love and He stepped  down from his throne and sat down beside her. He hugged her but she withdrew so He let her go, it was her choice, it had to be. But He sat there beside her, and even though she wasn’t looking she felt His eyes on her, full of love, full of compassion, full of understanding. And she just sat still while the tears ran down her cheek and slowly her heart started to heal.
